Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the younger franchises in the National Football League. Established in 1996, it became the city's second NFL franchise when Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell transferred the said franchise 13 years after Robert Irsay transferred the Baltimore Colts to Indianapolis, Indiana. Despite its relative infancy, the team has won Super Bowls XXXV and XLVII. The only player present in two championship teams is recently retired Inside Linebacker and future Hall of Famer Ray Lewis.
The prominence of Lewis brought recognition to the Ravens defense for so long. But now that he and safety Ed Reed is gone, the defense will be anchored by Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata and new addition Elvis Dumervil. Meanwhile, the offense of the defending champions will be led by quarterback Joe Flacco, running back Ray Rice, wide receiver Jacoby Jones, tight end Dennis Pitta and tackle Michael Oher. With a stellar roster, the Baltimore Ravens are primed to have a deep run into next season's playoffs.
