Tradition. It is one thing that the Boston Celtics are rich of. Aside from its famed parquet floor, the team has garnered 17 NBA championships. Through time, several legends have worn the green and white: Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, Tom Heinsohn, John Havlicek, KC Jones, Tom Sanders, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Bill Russell to name a few. However, the franchise went through some rough times by failing to win a crown since 1986 and dismal performances from the middle to late 90's.

However, the Celtics enjoyed a rennaissance when Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined Paul Pierce to bring the title back to Boston in 2008. Though Allen has left, the team's fortunes are still in good hands with the likes of Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green and Brandon Bass. With the Big Ticket and The Truth leading the way, the pride of the Boston Celtics is alive and well among its players and its rabid fan base.
