New Kids on the Block
Before the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and all other boybands took center stage, there was the New Kids on the Block. Formed in the mid-80s, the group became one of the strong proponents of the New Jack Swing movement in music. Through the 1980s and 1990s, the group undeniably achieved much success. However, their success was cut short when the group disbanded in 1994. Though it would take 13 long years before they take the stage as a group once again, it was worth the wait.
They released an album in 2008 and embarked on a concert tour. Lately, they have performed with groups such as the Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. A new album is set to be released in 2013 and they are constantly touring to win old and new fans once more. Without question, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Jordan Knight and Joey McIntyre are once again fortifying their block in the music industry. Show them love by buying their concert's tickets and sing with them during their performances.
