The Seattle Seahawks are a rather new team in the NFL being founded in 1976.  Since then, they have had various flashes of success.  They made their first playoff appearance in 1983 and went to their first Super Bowl in 2005. Head Coach Mike Holmgren looks to contend this year is the NFC West and take his Seahawks all the way to the Super Bowl.  With the home field advantage that they have at Qwest Field, being one of the most deafening football stadiums in the league, there is no telling how far they can go this year as they look for the opportunity to play for the Lombardi Trophy and represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this year.
