St. Louis Blues

When the National Hockey League expanded in 1967, the St. Louis Blues were one of the teams formed. This move doubled the teams in the NHL to twelve. Among the six expansion teams that entered that year, the Blues are the only ones that have not won a Stanley Cup. Though a championship is not in their resume, they have been steady contenders over the years. However, they have been prey to play-off disappointments despite having eight division championships.
St. Louis Blues legends include Al Macinnis, Brett Hull, Brian Sutter and Wayne Gretzky who played one year with the team. Meanwhile, those who are currently playing sweet music on ice are captain David Backes, defenseman Barret Jackman, left wing Andy McDonald, defenseman Alex Pietrangelo and left wing Alexander Steen. Will they be able to finally complete their performance and take home the franchise's first Stanley Cup? The answer is best discovered by watching them in the flesh through the purchase of game tickets.
