The Tampa Bay Lightning is the only National Hockey League franchise that does not represent a definite state or town. Rather, Tampa Bay is an area in Florida and the Lightning brought pride to their fans when they won the Stanley Cup during the 2003-2004 season. During their championship run, they had legendary ice players such as Dave Andreychuk, Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and Frederik Modin.
