Pengrowth Saddledome

The Saddledome is a prominent landmark in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and it was originally built for the 1988 Winter Olympics. It is owned by the City of Calgary and operated by Saddledome Foundation. The Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League also has a lease agreement with the Saddledome until 2014. At present, it can accommodate up to 19,300 attendees to an ice hockey game. It became known as the Scotiabank Saddledome since 2011 and it was formerly known as the Olympic Saddledome, the Canadian Airlines Saddledome and the Pengrowth Saddledome.
Aside from the Calgary Flames, the Calgary Hitmen of the World Hockey League also conduct their home games here. The Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League also play home games here. The Saddledome is one of the most beautiful arenas in the world. Make it a point to visit it and catch a game here.
